gEDA-user: stupid newbie question

2006-11-26 Thread Giorgenes Gelatti
Hi there, This may be stupid, but, here it goes. If I have a footprint of, for example, DIP40, is it a standard footprint? I mean, is there different sizes of DIP40, or DIP40 is always the same? The reason I'm asking this is becouse I did a pcb with a DIP40 on it, and when I printed the pins

Hi there, Following the my schematic doesn't work series, I have another problem. I was doing my schematic in ubuntu dapper and now I changed to edgy. What happens is that when I open my schematic, I can't connect any new nets. They seem to get aligned off grid. I mean, I can create the nets,

I didn't put footprints in some components becouse I didn't get any error about that. They seem to have a default footprint already. Is it a problem to leave the default footprints? 2006/11/6, John Luciani [EMAIL PROTECTED]: On 11/5/06, Giorgenes Gelatti [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: i'm sending my

Hi there, I'm new to electronics, geda and this list. I've read some tutorial in the net but end up with this question: I've done a simple schematic in geda and exported it to PCB via gsch2pcb. After drawing the soldering lines by hand in pcb I got to a situation where there was no path to
