in2000? Is there any real reason
to use one version over the other, except personal preference?
Depends on the software you want to run. For me, Win98 is more than enough
to run the software that I need to run.
Sorry for all the questions, and thanks for the info!

ati.e XFree 4.3.0 drivers?
My second question is has anyone got this card working with 3D, and TV in
support and what did you have to go through to get it working?

By the way which kernel are you using.

[EM
ons is to add the kernel parameter hdg=ide-floppy. There
may be some problems if you also have ide-scsi as a kernel parameter for a
cd burner. I will give this a shot and see what happens. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for your input. Just wanted to tell you all that I made the
big leap to gentoo this weekend. It took 40 hours to get my KDE 3.1 desktop
up and running but Oh my is it faster than RedHat ever was.

Hi,
Does any one know how to setup a ATAPI Iomega Zip 100 Drive Under gentoo. On
Redhat
the Iomega Zip Drive appeared as /dev/hdg4. Under gentoo there is no hdg4 in
dev. Thanks.

Hi,
I am having a heck of a time getting KDE 3.1 on Redhat with xft and
xrender support and was wondering if this is easier and more stable to do
on gentoo. I like Redhat 8.0 for it's stability and was wondering how
gentoo fairs in this area. Thanks.
