Possible solutions:
1 - Recompile your kernel to allow for i810 DRM and FrameBuffer support
2 - VIDEO_CARDS=i810 emerge x11-drm
3 - On the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file, see to it that your video driver is i810.
If they don't work, try setting you video driver to vesa, it shouldn't
get any problems.
Hi there,
I have emerged games-arcade/frozen-bubble-1.0.0-r4 and everytime I
try to run it with sound I get this:
[SDL Init] [Graphics...] [Levels] Ready.
[Sound Init]
Not a SCALAR reference at ./frozen-bubble line 169.
And it crashes.
Anyone has seen this before? If so, how did you
What kind of things are you planning to run in that machine?
If it is Oracle, Tomcat, NCBI-Tools or something like that, you should
really put 2 GB+. If it is just a desktop machine you user for games,
development, and stuff like that, 512MB should handle it...

The funny thing is that it only happens when I'm compiling a 2.4
kernel. And the kernel works ok, but the modules are corrupted.

I don't know why, but it is only happening in one of my Gentoo
machines. Perhaps I should cross compile it.

Yes, it is doable, it would be a problem if they were in the same

Hi all,
Hi there
I'm new to gentoo. I'm using it since July 2004. And it is working like

It always does! ;)
I'd like to say thank you very much to all Gentoo guys and gals who make

If I /etc/init.d/postgresql start, it works like a charm.
Note that
You're welcome. ;)

When you insert the USB device, type dmesg | tail and it should tell
you with what device you USB device can mounted. Even if it isn't
/dev/sda1. Let me know if this solves you problem. Good luck dude :)
