Yes, I used to do it this way, when I had HP printer. Now with Brother
printers when you print first page "the form" it put some kind of static
onto the page. So when you run it second time, it jams almost every
second page.

They will combine pdf documents (I use them as well) but they will not
overlap two pages together.
My t4-flat-02b.pdf - this is a form

I want to join these two pages and print it as one page.
I just check out "app-text/cpdf" but it doesn't do the job either.

" emerge -uDNavq world" appears to be working (and new "portage" is there).
I have 428-packages to emerge so it will take some time.
But I was under impression I need to emerge "portage" before anything else.

What are my chances to run Gentoo as a VirtualBox?
Installing Gentoo takes me 2-3 days (basic setup min., I don't do it
every month so I have to go through Gentoo handbook); to configure it
the way I want it takes
The CD boots OK.
Other partition are working OK on this disk I only have problem with
/dev/ada5
I can boot strap the drive and mount /dev/sda5 manually but I don't know
if it can be fixed.
The cable is OK as other partition are working correctly.

Firefox-52.2.0 is buggy. 54.0 works correctly.

I find it hard to believe as the computer was working for 3-months
without any problem with video card in 8-bit PCI slot.

I was trying to recover the ext4 file system on this USB but it didn't work.
I was under impression that ext4 file system was much better (not prone
to these kind of damages) but I was wrong.

When I went to presented it (I had only Windows box available) and had
to use some kind of "ext" driver from http://www.ext2fsd.com/ to read

Though most likely I'll select a different motherboard if that will be
possible.

No, video display.
I've swapped the video cards, it is not it.
Is it a motherboard?

I save it back as "ods" extension and all errors are gone (fixed).
With Gnumeric I've noticed that the same file with xls - extension

I think it must be due to these references.
How to locate/look in spreadsheets for these references

Just select them all and use "pdfunite" to combine them.

with different software you will be
out of luck.
Have Brother ADC-2400N, it works (network, duplex etc) but the design is
defective. When you scan small receipts you will end up with black
background (not suitable for faxing etc). The scanning strips should be
position at an offset but they are not, hence black background when
scanning small papers.
Epson should work OK, but I only have 2400 model.

will will have to do extra work.

Ps. Stay away from Brother Network Scanner.

I think mostly they will be sending some pdf files + some images.
After sending the encrypted file they will follow with a call to provide
"password" this shouldn't be a problem.
I'll try 7zip, see if it works already.
