Hi Ben,
Thanks for your answer.
I noticed that my polygon wasn't closed, but the problem remained.
In your test you use gsml:shape which is of type GeometryPropertyType and I
think that's the point. I need to use an abstract type and it looks like
targetAttributeNode is not working.
I'm sure

Hi list,
I would like to share the geoserver 2.1.1 geoserver_data_dir with a
geoserver 2.0.2 (I've got an apache tomcat servelet),
but I have some problem because the 2.0.2 doesn't start.
From the logs the problem seems to be the gwc.
Is it a known issue?
thanks in advance

Hi, I looking for a way to include a sql enabled form in the geoserver
templates. One of the fields is a value selected by
OpenLayers.Control.WMSGetFeatureInfo.
Including some PHP code would be one option, but client based java and
server based php is not an easy mix.
Is there some other way to

ok Andrea,
I understand the issue.
I'll rebuild manually the data directory of the 2.0.2 and then I'll share it
with the 2.1.1.
cheers

Follow-up on how to to do this? Basically, I want logged in user to
access all wms but allow ROLE_ADMINISTRATOR to read/write whsed layers
and read only to philippines layers. At the same time allow fpe3
users to write only to wshed.places.
My security settings below:
$ cat layers.properties
Forgot to add, using this settings, I can still write to all layers
via geoeditor.

Hi everybody!
I posted a message on the GeoExt list, but I think my problem rather deals
with GeoServer.
I'm using the print module of GeoServer based on the MapFish print module:

It works very good, but only for PDF
Hi all,
One of the developers in my group is working on an SLD that requires a some
rather complex filtering. She's wondering if there is any way this can be
accomplished using a syntax, such as CQL, that is more compact than XML.
Is this possible?
If so, pointer(s) to the relevant
You could take a look at the CSS extension - it offers a much terser
alternative syntax for styling in GeoServer, including CQL filters.

Thanks for your reply Simone.
Will this feature be available in the next release of Geoserver then?

Just FYI, in case this is keeping anyone else up at night :) -it turns out
this is a client (openlayers/geoext) level problem, not a GeoServer
problem-it is a ft vs meters issue. .

Any tips on testing whether directWMSIntegration on GWC for

I know Gabriel has a way of looking at the headers in the response,
but I forget exactly what that is.
What I do is look at the GWC page in GeoServer in the disk quota
section. If you move around the map some and then reload that page
the amount of data cached should increase. You can check to
