Thanks for the reply but I am still not getting any response from geoserver
regarding the update of my native JAI on linux ubuntu server.
I have set the JAVA_HOME variable successfully ...at least when I run
"printenv" it shows the correct path to the directory...but this could be just

You might try to shorten the list of CRS geoserver is serving data in. This
can be done in WMS panel in admin, if I am not mistaken.

I have a copy of a trunk pre-release of geoserver2.2 that supports a time-based
WMS request.
On one network that I have this hosted, a simple getCapabilities request
returns in a matter of a second (that data tables the layers point too contain
a small amount of data).
On another network whe

Using firebug or similar, can you see whether this go results in a post
request to geoserver? I am guessing not in which

If the goals are:
- maintain only one copy of the styling for a given feature type
- display different versions of a feature depending on scale
then perhaps you could merge all feature versions of the same feature type
into a single table, with an attribute indicating the appropriate scale,
and t

So I have done
this http://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/production/java.html even
removingjai_core-x.y.z.jar / jai_imageio-x.y.jar / jai_codec-x.y.z.jar files
but Geoserver is still giving me this
JVM Version = Sun Microsystems Inc.: 1.6.0_20 (OpenJDK Server VM)

WellI followed the instructions regarding installing Installing native JAI

is it necessary to restart tomcat6 or the server to get these changes
recognised?..
or do I have to remove these files from geoserver?

Hi,
in geoserver my JAI verwendeter Arbeitsspeicher is always on Zero.
Native JAI is False and nativ JAI Image = False
My JVM Versionis Sun Microsystems Inc.: 1.6.0_20 (OpenJDK Server VM).
Is this the recommended version and should I do something here?
Cheers for any help,
Rob
Chris,
Have you checked whether the fonts mentioned in the SLD are actually on the
system to GeoServer? This can be checked in the admin interface.
Kind regards,
Edward

Hi Christian

Could you please elaborate a little on this. Being new to GeoServer I'm
struggling to understand and use all the different aspects of layers, layer
groups and styles.
My task is to display different layers dependent on scale.

Hi,
I am having an issue with GWC endpoints in GeoServer 2.2 RC-3 ignoring
non-default styles.
I'm running testing GeoServer 2.2 RC-3 with layer backed by vector data served
via GWC endpoints including integrated-WMS and WMS-C. The layer I am testing
has 2 available rendering styles. I've s
