I get this error: "The supplied grid coverage uses an unsupported crs! You are
allowed to use only projected and geographic coordinate reference systems"

Turns out that this is happening with an older version of Geoserver and
TIFFS. I am not seeing this behavior on the latest Geoserver with MrSid
images.
For example:

Yes, this is how I read the specification, a value less parameter of any name
would be passed the input dataset. But this is now what I observed as I needed
to use the name "data" for the input data. I can do a little digging, but
things are working now and changing the parameter

I.m trying to install geoserver-2-2-war into tomcat6. After starting
Tomcat geoserver is not running. Catalina.out log says
"servlet-api-2.5.jar not loaded", but the servlet seems to be in the
correct location. Any ideas? More of log below.

I would suggest to set up a JNDI datasource and then connect to it
with a proper datastore.properties as explained here:
