Dear Ruediger,
from your packages installation list it seems to me that you have only
installed the MrSID and ECW plugins but you didn't install the GDAL core
library.
Note that MrSID and ECW msi installers simply add 2 drivers to the main
GDAL installation.

Hi
You have to set Declared SRS. Click Find button to find if you don't remember,
or just type EPSG: to the Declared SRS-box where is the right number.
After that Compute... will work.
Good luck!

Hi,
I tried to install the GDAL plugin into geoserver 2.7.0.
The server Windows 2008 R2 64bit has the MVC++ 2010 64bit and MVC++ 2005 32bit
and 64bit installed.

Hello 3D folks,
we currently try to set up a current Geoserver (2.8) including W3DS.
The W3D Service seems to run, but the service does not appear in the

In version 2.8 the format selection for W3DS lacks.

As Daniele suggested have you installed the gdal core? The download for it will

Hi,
Yes, that variables are configured on my system.
The gdalinfo.exe --formats lists the MrSID format after setting the
GDAL_DRIVER_PATH.
A other post says that the gdal core must be installed.
I added the folder containing the gdalinfo.exe to the path - is this correct?

I would rather fix the docs so they make sense, I expect adding an example
would help.
The subject of naming layers and styles is a confusing one in GeoServer and
we have yet to figure out a way to provide helpful feedback. Failing to
load was not considered helpful feedback :)
