Hello there
we also have had some problems upgrading a geoserver instance from 2.2 to 2.7
we copied the data dir from one to the other and everything worked except for
the cached layers… they gave the error below: Current styles of layer not
available
we saw that manually going to the layer
Hello,
we have recently upgraded to geoserver 2.7 and are having a problem with the
integrated GWC.
The actual problem is that a vanilla raster (geotiff) layer stored in epsg:4326
cannot be requested using a bbox of: -180,-90, 0,0
-180,-90,-135,-45 works, but -180,-90, 0,0 does not.
so
watch out for POST requests if you'r trying to protect sensitive data (and
shapefile format?)

Hi there,
I am requesting geoserver to render a single band tiff image with a colormap
defined in SLD, this is working fine.
I would like that the result is interpolated so that the resulting image is
'smooth', and the pixels of the source image are not evident. turning on
interpolation in

Hi there,
I have an SLD for choosing 3 bands of a multi band image and allocating them to
particular R,G,B channels as per the doc (sld is included below).
This works excellently when the SLD is pre-defined in the geoserver config
(using style=) however I would like to define which bands are
Robert,
i have a 'geoserver defined view' that works fine like this:

are you shore it's not throwing a javascript error ? have you tried looking in
your browser's 'error console' (firefox/chrome / safari) and seeing if it is
complaining about anything. also, can it be the result of a reverse proxy /
non-direct access to tomcat for the case that's broken.

in the meantime you could maybe try something creative with the REST api and
reset the store if a problem is detected by some kind of polling.. maybe the
act of polling will convince the connection to stay up.

hi there,
we have upgraded a server from 2.0.2 to 2.1.0 and have noticed a change that
I'm not sure was intended or is a regression/bug.
previously I have been able to change the definition (=source TIF file) of a
coverage with a REST request such as:
curl -u admin:xxx -v -XPUT -H
we use a random number as noone ever sees that
field. also enabled sets to false if you dont sent it to true here.
cheers and good evening

Ivan, hi!
Thanks for a tip, but changing value to rawValue doesn't do anything.
Still all the features have one fixed height.
Any clues?

gday gis mage,
i vaguely remember having problems with ftl templates
the result.
Tried to move *50 outside {} - then vectors become flat in google earth.
Multiplying cat in the database doesn't make sense, because
height.ftl doesn't affect postgis layers AT ALL! Regardless of what's
inside a file. Is it a bug?
Any other thoughts?

Hi Phil,
is there no ogc:Function name=upper type of thing you can use ?

Hi there,
I had a look at the python module for the first time today, i must say
it looks *really* interesting.
To be honest the first thing i thought was the ability to implement SLD

java coding abilities)
are there
function in python and referenced
it in a geometry transform in an SLD and it worked.

Awesome,
once again i'm surprised in a good way by whats possible in gs and its
friends.
it looks like the rendering side is very advanced here, but on the other
side i really want to do as little pre-processing as possible, as our

do you mean delete the view or delete the layers in geoserver ?
to delete a view you can goto the SQL prompt of the database and do
something like 'drop view xxx'

They should indeed turn up there if all is working. My advice would be
to turn on verbose logging and restart geoserver and have a look in your
