For the code in question we are responsible as a subcommittee to get
things done. Any significant change beyond day to day operation we
send to the board for approval ( like any other committee ).
I am sorry I was not able to make Monday's meeting but we did get
discussion going.

My previous email was a question to the OSGeo board about the
interpretation of a particular paragraph of the copyright agreement, as
pointed by Frank. We understand that GeoTools has its own schedule,
consequently we didn't asked any decision about the 5% of "core" code

Just for clarification: this phrase may give the impression that we are
having extensive private email exchange, which is not the case.

We have a decision making process to follow, which starts with assembling
enough information to know what we are talking about.
I am afraid I was otherwise booked with the OSGeo incubation meeting and

Martin the geotools project which you approached earlier has not had a
chance to look into your request yet with any degree of care. As an
example we had not gotten around to checking the code contribution
agreement yet.

Hey Victor,
It looks like version 8.0 does not exist in jira, although "8.0.0" did. I
have changed that back to "8.0". We also need to transfer all resolved
issues that have a fixVersion of "8.0-RC3" to the "8.0" fixVersion. I have

Seems sensible in general that Complex Feature parsing and building would
be independent on wfs datastore. People might want to use it standalone,
just reading in some gml files. Then wfs-ng should just call that module,
no?

Hi Ben and others,
Thanks for your response.
I already forked wfs-ng (from Gabriel's) but the problem I'm having is that
there are errors in it which prevent it compiling.
I don't really know how much (if any) of wfs-ng I need because I don't actually
know how it differs from trunk - I just pu
