Does anyone know if there's any kind of release timeline for Gimp.. like
when 2.8 will come out or if 2.7 even will?

I'm trying to import a multiple page PDF and do some editing. I'm able
to import a single page, add layers, edit, etc - but having a problem
with multipage PDF's. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

is not allowed. So maybe the new dialog isn't so bad after all ... but
how are users supposed to know they can type in a path?

Most likely the missing headers are those for Python itself. Did you
look for python-devel?

The not-found font name is an XLFD (X Logical Font Descriptor); GIMP 2.x
uses the newer Xft font mechanism. I don't think Xft uses XLFDs at all
... but then I really don't understand Xft, so I could easily be mistaken.

Change it from an indexed image to an RGB image.
On the tool bar: Image > Mode > RGB
You can also add an alpha channel. In the Layers dialogue, Right Click the
layer and choose Add Alpha Channel.
When you're finished you can flatten the image again and convert back to
indexed.

I have a GIF that is 780 pixels wide and I would like to cut 30 pixels out
of the middle to reduce it to 750 wide. What would be the best way to do that?
I am using Gimp for Windows 1.2. on Win98.

I have tried using the --quality flag with the imagemagick implementation.
However, It was still not up to the clients standards and the gimp image was
still a cleaner image.Basically, Imagemagick is not an option for us.
