It just dawned on me, I volunteered my speakers, but I forgot to ask what they
are getting hooked upto. The use exposed wire leads for connections, not the
A/V plugs that most things use now (they're old speakers). I can bring my tuner
if we need that to run the speakers, too.

Jerry,
If you're looking for a GUI frontend to the ipxutils and nwclient, you can use
gnlogin (http://www.wm.f2s.com/gnlogin-v1.3.tar.gz). I used it a few times, and
it works.

All,
Does anyone know if "-p all" in an ipchains rule actually means ALL protocols,

There are certain mice that you can do this with, but not all. There are
special "PS2/Serial" mice that will work with the connector, but a regular PS/2
mouse won't. Unfortunatly, it is dependant upon the wiring of the mouse itsef.

I was wondering if there is a way to see how big an archive would be if I were
to tar an entire disk. What I want to do is pull the harddrive out of one box

Well, ok, then Let's not ignore things here. I gave a fairly detailed
account of what I am looking to do, and why. Aparently, several people think
that there would be a better way to go about it, but no one is saying how! So,

won't do me much good because I'm going to be putting the dive in a different
system with much different hardware.

I am looking for a mail program for UNIX/Linux that works from the command

list of recipients), change the sender address, specify a file to get the body

I believe you can also add the path to /etc/ld.so.conf and run ldconfig

I can't remember how to get ld to permanently look here, but you might
try this:

Wouldn't you also have to add the AllowOverride All line in the directory
config?

It's simple and yet it's not. I think Apache Week has at
least one article about it http://www.apacheweek.com/.
The easiest path is something like the below. Replace "SR"
with the path to your
