As a workaround, I've committed a very hacky i18n solution to swfdec-gnome
to at least get the strings from the menus into the .po files. See changeset
143 for my changes if you're interested.
We have changed almost all long and short descriptions for
gnome-settings-daemon GConf keys.
In brief:
* short descs are now short
* long descs are now functional, descriptive and HIG compliant
(well, we hope...)
