To echo the others, this is excellent news... does this also fix the issues
with the Scheduled Transactions?
Thank you!

I can confirm that reporting is working as expected on my machine.

P.S. Further to my previous test results, I have now run all reports
(there are 51 excluding those on the Business menu (I don't use Business
functionality)) on my own books (41MB uncompressed XML) and, although I

Having finally beaten WebKitGtk on Windows into submission so that it runs
JavaScript without crashing, at least in my not very extensive tests, I've
built a new Windows gnucash-5.5-1.setup.exe and uploaded it to the usual places.

Hello,
I am not sure what version of GnuCash you are using but I might try
uninstalling the version you have and reinstall 5.4, 5.5 has some issues
and maybe that might be the reason. Or maybe there was a bad installation.
Alternatively I would check how you are entering the transactions in case
I think this is a technical difficulty. Because none of the
transactions are showing at all.

Hello,
The reason there are no balances is because you have a debit and a credit
in the same account. If your opening balance is 10k and that opening
balance is in a bank account it should be

- CR Opening Balances 10k
If those opening balances were from a loan from the ban

Does it mean that this won't be an issue for MacOS users? No report
crash for running GnuCash on Mac? Thanks!

No need to troubleshoot, that's already been done. This is
https://bugs.gnucash.org/show_bug.cgi?id=799167, and is caused by a crash in
WebKit's Javascript engine. I've been trying, so far without success, to get a
build of WebKit on Windows with enough debugging symbols to show me the
problem.
Hopefully this is the right way to ask for help with this issue.
I've been out of the office for a couple weeks, and coming back in today I

Hi, folks:
I recently upgraded to GnuCash 5.5-1 on macOS, from 4.14 and a long
succession of GnuCashes before that. I have been successfully retrieving
quotes via AlphaVantage for a long time. With the upgrade to GnuCash
5.5, that stopped working.
When I run the GnuCash 5.5 application, and
In another thread it is reported that it does not crash for some of us,
but does not accept status changes, and does not accept variable entry.
These are likely all related: crash for some, ignored entry for others,
maybe works for others. It probably depends on exactly which SXs are
showing up
I just opened bug # 799173 because GnuCash 5.5 is crashing.
I have an old old data file, lots of scheduled transactions, lots of
transactions. On upgrade to 5.5 today I was admiring the refinements to

Hi,
Installed Gnucash 5.5 for Windows.
I notice that running the included report Net Worth Linechart (under Assets &
Liabilities) almost immediately crashes the UI - no message that I can see.
The LCK file is left open as well.
I found this out when I tried to run one of my saved report confi
