Dear Sir/Madam,
I am enclosing copy of a letter addressed by Shri Eduardo Faleiro, MP to
Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee re. permission to contribute a
sum of Rs. 1 crore from MPLADS for relief and rehabilitation of the
victims of communal violence in Gujarat. The letter
funds available to us under Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme
(MPLADS). Government may permit us to do so. The situation in Gujarat is indeed a
national calamity.
