Many of my working colleagues are from Bangalore, and they tell me how the city

Karnataka is a much cleaner state than Goa. In Bangalore especially,
no one throws garbage

Tourist overuse is a serious threat to Goa, too.
And what about our own World Heritage Site at
Old Goa? The land in the vicinity of the monuments
is now all up for real estate 'development' when the
entire area should have been declared a park and
off-limits for construction.
