I need help figuring out why SVG image was not rendered. Here is the
setup:
Using GWT, I have a simple app with client side java only, and in the
host page of the app I have a single SVG file.
Testing the app in Development mode works properly, the image shows in

I created a simple app a long time ago. It works and I need to make
some changes to it.
I tried accessing it via appengine.google.com/a/MYDOMAIN.COM but after
authorization I get the following error:

Wild west domains provides DNS to sites that do Million plus a day, and when
you look at amount of downtime they have had over the last 5 years no one
has a better track record in the DNS Space.
No Joke.

Do you have a warm up handler configured in your Yaml?
If you don't then the new instance has to warm up and handle a request.

I'd like to share my PubNub experience:
I have been using PubNub for updating thousands of iPhones at the same time.
Once you have a (java) instance running which as already connected to
pubnub in the past, it publishes fast.
I don't know the latency or

consider a godaddy hosted domain in the first place. This gotta be a joke.

The docs for downloading logs make no specific mention of backends,
and from my attempts it seems that you can only download logs for your
frontend. That would be strange though, and to make matters worse a
web search for "google app engine download backend logs" (no quotes

Thanks Brandon. Many of the DeadlineExceededErrors were occurring during
warmup requests, according to the stacktraces, during python import
statements. I upped the number of idle instances in an attempt to mitigate
this sort of thrashing, and your advice makes sense for this case. Our

I can't speak for Google.
But every time I ask people what they set their Latency and Idle instances
to. (which is usually the problem)
No one ever sends along the Instances, and the Request per second graphs.
I'll bet money that if you up the number of idle instances that your issues
