Billed instance hours are not generally well understood, so I've
written a simple tool which visually shows you where your billed
instance hours have come from (as I understand it.)
You just need to provide an instance chart URL, and your 'max idle
instances' setting (alternatively, see how
I was referring to the earlier messages, which confirmed that my
messages had been there at one point. Thanks for clarifying though.

This is some much needed good news!
For low traffic apps, increasing free instance hours from 24 to 28
will make it possible again to stay within the free quota (as long as
'max idle instances' on the 'application settings' page is set to 1.)
This will make a lot of people happy.

The situation now is:
- It takes 14 minutes to deploy (tested 3 times.)
- However, the old version is still the one that is running
- The dashboard shows that 0 instances are
Everything is now working normally again. Thanks! :)

I also experienced the same problem - leading up to 05-10 06:00AM the
majority (if not all) requests were dropped. I had dozens of emails
from end-users that had experienced this problem.
During this period I could also not update the application.
I hope that there is an official update on this
