Okay,
sometimes it is better to go to bed and start over again. I mixed up

Hi,
I need some advice on the quickest way to create a mosaic.
I have sucessfully used the example from the r.patch manual page:
MAPS=`g.mlist type=rast sep=, pat="map_*"`
g.region rast=$MAPS
r.patch in=$MAPS out=mosaic
I have 115 1 degree ASTER tiles that I want to mosaic together before

I hoped to suggest v.to.rast
Following my last two messages, to which I got no reply, I'll try to explain my
situation a bit better...
For over 10 years, I used ESRI tools (AV Spatial Analyst, ArcInfo costdistance,
ArcGIS costallocation)
to calculate accessibility and allocation surfaces, based on the cost surfaces
method
To add to this, where would you like the results/feedback to go, if just Grass
was tested, i.e. I didn't test all the software, so not really applicable for
the LiveDvd test submission.
Cheers

Hi,
I'll try to explain the concepts used (sorry for not being clear in previous
messages)
Cost surface: input raster map whose cell category value represent cost (from
r.cost). Example: time
spent to cross a given cell, depending on slope, road type, etc.
Accessibilty surface: a raster contain
Hi all,
When trying to use the Python GUI to georectify vectors, I am unable to
create a group because it complains that no rasters have been added to
the group ... but I'm trying to rectify some vectors!

Hi,
I'm doing some patch stats analysis (largest patch, edge and interior
patches). There are meta modules available in grass r.le and r.li.
The seem to provide similar set of patch statistics calculations. I
want to know the basic difference of the two. r.li seems to be very
similar to fragst

please file in the grass bug/wish trac system or edit the wiki
