Also, how long should a set of quality spark plugs last? (I'm preparing
for a 10 day adventure and today I installed new rubber, changed the oil &
filter, replaced the brake fluid, and I replaced the chain and sprockets a
couple of months ago.)

I was pulled over yesterday in Walnut Creek, CA ... seems I was going
a little fast on the GTS. A cop on a bike sitting on a side street hit
me with his radar gun (note to self, look into purchase of radar
detector).

Has anyone polished their wheels ... or found a product that keeps
em looking good without buffing em all the time? I cleaned mine up
about 3 months ago with some metal polish (semichrome maybe) and they
