Hi Bob,
I have a mint cond. stock seat that came extra with my GTS (previous

it's yours.

Some artistic talent would be needed...

Just drill the rivets and pull the material back a
little so you can access the lower edge, hold it there
with tape and side grind/Dremmel the fiberglass (I
used one of those discs that fit on your drill).
SMOOTH the edges before pulling the fabric back

Chris, I couldn't agree more. The Corbin is a great seat for me and my

The best corbin color for my 94 GTS was carbon fiber leather.
I purchased my GTS with a corbin seat included. The fit is good and I like
the black with red piping. The seat is more comfortable than the stock seat
(the original owner kept the original seat which has never been used) and
the corbin looks great.

Thanks Kevin and everyone. The problems reported are a worry but I think I'm
going ahead with the Corbin anyway. For me the biggest problem with the
stock seat is the sloping passenger seat which gives the passenger sore
legs, knees etc from trying to resist forward movement. This also see

I just got a black simulated leather look Corbin from Chris Caputo on

Any decent upholsterer ought to be able to do the job for you. Ask your
dealer who does good work on MC saddles. I've had 2 inches or so added to
my saddle.

Anyone know where I could find a used Corbin with backrest. It's going to be

Well, Louis, you saw that issue before I did. Sheesh.
The seat is dished out, and it's maybe a half-inch lower. You can tell Bill what you
want. I had him do my ST1100 seat, wasn't 100% happy and sent it back to make it,
among other things, a bit higher. The next time it came back

I have a stock seat which is virtually brand new (approx. 3,000 miles
on-it). I replaced-it with a Corbin, therefore its just the seat, no
hardware. I would be willing to sell it for $100, but buyer also pays
the shipping. If anyone is interested, let me know.
