Caliver books (run by Dave Ryan) are regulars on the UK re-enactment trading scene. So is Petty Chapman (Dave Rushworth). I've never used any of the patterns sold by Caliver, (I cut my own), so can't say how accurate or otherwise, or how easy to use. Did once use some of Dave Rushworth's patte

I second the recommendations to use linen and draw the pattern for the coif directly onto the fabric. I would recommend regular linen from a good fabric store, slightly heavier than a weight you might be using for the shirt. I don't know how much embroidery you have done but if you are wanting a
