The very original Pharmacy software was exactly that - for
Outpatient Pharmacy use. It eliminated the need for typing labels,

Nancy,
Thanks for your help. If you notice in the log of my
trial below, I did first run dos2unix. I think I am
not understanding the prompts, i.e. exactly does it
want at "routine: " prompt.
Thanks

The .pdf file is a user's guide. Doesn't say how to

I have not upgraded to 5.0 yet as the VA is still at 4.1.16. The VA

In your reply to Steve, you said it started with V5. Do you have v4 and

That was my other problem. I was not able to locate my %G routine.
When I did a d ^%ZIS, it worked okay. I was only having a problem with D

It was acting as if I am doing a D ^%RI when doing ^%G. I am sorry I can
not duplicate it now because the laptop is on its way to Malaysia.

I am using CACHE. I made a copy of my CACHE.DAT from a CACHE 4 and when I
put it in CACHE 5.0 that is when I experienced this problem. There must be
a setting in CACHE 5.0 that needs to be change because I am not having a
problem in 4.0

Expect is a server side utility and you should be able to install it with
out too much trouble. Are you using SMIT, the admin utility for AIX? It
should be your friend if you are not comfortable performing admin functions
