Does anyone know that in terms of extracting data for analysis, ad hoc
reporting and research purposes, would I require any other 3rd party
software apart from the VistA modules, mappers and associated tools
listed below?
- dSs extracts ( would i need to use SAS(r) with this? )
- VA Fileman, SQLi,
I was just wondering how it is going.
I sent an email to Nancy, and have tried to skype her but
I think she must be very busy.
If anyone knows what is going on please send me a message.
Also, if there is anyway I can help let me know.

Hi,
My name is Jim and I just joined the Hardhats mailing
list. I'm new to the VA environment and just
downloaded Vista to run on my Windows XP Cache

I followed the vista install doc
(VistA_Install/Vista_Install.html) but I'm having a
problem getting Taskman running.

Hi Jim:
After following the Platinum installation instructions on my Win XP machine,
TaskMan would not start for me, so I ended up editing file 14.7 to get the
parameters to match those shown in step 98.
Once I did this, TaskMan started.
I'm not expert enough to know if this was the correct
I have sent a plug and play CD image to InterSystems for distribution at

It looks like Teamspeak or perhaps the net connection is not up to the
task. It is too bad. It would be neat if the sessions were recorded on
a PC, the later converted to MP3s and uploaded to Hardhats or WorldVistA
for folks to sample later, based on the topic. That is a lot to ask,
I showed the higher level menus just to
give you the context.

receive mail, but Id like to view the mail delivery statistics. I tried
following Camerons mini-tutorial, selecting the Mail Delivery Statistics
Report, New Messages and Logon Statistics, etc. but I keep getting ***NO
I connected but the audio was a bit too low. I could only understand one

I agree with nancy...
What are patterns.

I understand that I will probably have to rewrite the soundex codes...

I just turned it up. The mike is in a different room from the server.

Have you checked www.va.gov/vdl/VistA_Lib/Infrastructure/Mailman/xm7_1ini.doc
and www.va.gov/vdl/VistA_Lib/Infrastructure/Mailman/xm7_1net.doc
and search for delivery statistics?
