Turns out that a button on the volume control called Matrix was turned on.
When I turned it off everything worked properly.

I am having a problem with sound.
Here is my setup. I have a Soundblaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty sound card
and am running Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
My headset, when plugged into the optical out works perfectly.

I use Foxit reader (just updated to v3.2.0.0430)
I use FF Browser v3.6.3.
I use Java v6 update 20.
I use M$ Sync-Toy v2.1.
I AM WinXP SP3 fully patched.
Lately, I am seeing errors using Sync-Toy when backing up my office
machine to my NAS. The file do not seem to transfer.
It seems to stumble
Could be right, I did not get our theater group to bite on the CMS idea for their
website so never went beyond basic setup & tinkering of Joomla. Instead they went
with (LOL) some Intuit WYSIWYG junk @ 4x the monthly cost w/ no granular security &
lots of manual page edits.
