OK. Ugot me! Yes, I accept that Know is relative in this sandbox.
I was just observing that most of the psu comments are relative to price.
I accept that all of us are not floating in bucks. But, with a psu, I'd rather
spend a bit bigger to get the quality and performance I expect. Picky
Antec has had major issues because they use crap caps.
They supposedly have fixed the
issue but I will not buy another from them.
HardOCP has a great power supply forum where people
are discussing who actually makes
what with what components.

CWT as a ODM is supposed to be good. Issues stem from
capacitor choices and what the
OEM is looking for price point wise.
You want to read a real PSU horror story check out

brands from Best Buy and others:

I've had horrific luck with Antec power supplies over the last couple
of years, these days I'm preferring Enermax or Corsair units, both of
which I've had zero problems with.

Could be but I'd suspect PSU cooling issues played a
part in there also.

The first computer--that had dead HDD and video card--is in an Antec
sonata case with whatever psu came with it. So I hope it wasn't heat
or psu issues there.

Do I have really bad luck??

~2 years, I've had a lot of things go wrong! I've never had graphic
cards fail before, but I guess with the heat/energy/complexity of the
latest cards, it's become a lot more common?
