Tharin O., Thank GAWD somebody comprehends. I'll go get your links. Yes, UR 2d paragraph was the !Ding! And no, the burned cdrom had a "name" of 'My Disc'. Don't know how to really answer the question. Nero asks me for a file to burn. I 'add' the dot-iso file I want. Nero seems to burn it. Plus

In Nero there will be an option to create a cd from an Image as opposed to making a plain old "Data cd". I'm afraid you did the latter and this is a common mistake by folks who haven't really dealt with disc images before. Depending on whether you are using Nero, Nero Express , or the Nero gui

The El Torito Bootable CD Specification needs to be followed. Nero will burn this right ONLY if it is used in the original ISO, (so the ISO needs to "be built" correctly), and IF the ISO is NOT burned as a file, but instead burned as an IMAGE... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Torito_(CD-ROM_sta

Thanks Al, This is the one routine I completely forgot about. But I do recall using it many times back in 1990-2000. Looking back, even with the wrongly burned CD (try #2) with the DRDOS boot loader, I noticed that DEBUG was part of the load... Completely forgot about this in the heat o
