The best list I've seen can be found in Rosalind Reiser's book,
Jewish American Literature: a guide to reading interests. (published
in 2004 by Libraries Unlimited). It's well annotated and divided by
genre (thrillers, historical mysteries, humorous mysteries, etc.)
