As I grow
Dear friends,
I am sending this proposal on behalf of myself and my co-editor. We will
be extremely happy if the book contains some chapters that highlight
Judaica/Hebraica librarianship in the US: collection building, services,
information literacy, relations to campus and local communities,
I attended the opening as well and was very impressed with the collection,
the space, and of course the director! I got a library card and I am using
it. Great job, Lisa!

Having attended the Sperber Library’s grand opening, I can wholeheartedly
attest that the library is a fabulous space, a wonderful collection, and well
worth a visit if you’re ever in L.A. Lisa did a spectacular job!

Special thought to the wonderful people in Charleston that provided us with

creation of the community library DOES NOT SURPRISE ME.
It is good that I can ask for forgiveness so close to Yom Kippur.
To all the Librarians and book lovers.
I had the privilege of serving with Lisa on AJL Board, I read her articles and
book reviews, attended her presentations at the conferences and heard of her
participation in several other organizations that promote children literacy.
