Southeast Pathology was giving out scrapers at NSH this year but in case you didn't get one - go to the cooking section of Target or Walmart and see if they have a scraper to use on teflon surfaces. A squeegee works good on molten wax surfaces too. Otherwise, a snow scraper might work too. Reti

Home Depot or Lowes sells plastic scrappers in the paint area.  I cannot see why we would pay top dollar for this item.  I also purchase brushed to clean paraffin off microtomes at the craft store.  50 cents each is much better than 5 dollars.   Sue Paturzo TJUH _
