We use Bond slides and have noticed that occasionally they seem to have an
extra thick coating on them that will pick up DAB and turn slides brown. If
the glass itself is turning brown this might be your issue. Have you tried
different slide lots or brands?

of storage. BTW the oven is at 40 degrees and isn't boiling hot to dry the
slides.

I was just told by my Biocare rep that today was the last day they are selling
P63 antibody. I would like to purchase IVD P63 from another vendor, who else
sells it? I have having a few problems finding good info just using Google.

people seemed less nervous when there wasn't a person hovering over them. Our
hospital sees this skills test as the equivalent of a typing test for
transcriptionists.

They j= ust sit them on the counter and they cool - just like they
were being embed= ded. When we come in on Monday we just sit them in
the embedding cent= er for 15 minutes and they warm up enough to start
embedding. No harm= to tissues and no one has to come in.

I need help from my fellow histotechs. We are creating a po= sition

Hello all,
We mig= ht be getting a new coverslipper and the pathologists asked me
to get feedb= ack from my fellow histotechs that have used both glass
and tape coverslips= . Which type is most prefered for general
histology and cytology?&nbs= p; I did some research in
