We use the AmericanMasterTech Alcian Blue pH 2.5 and use this procedure: Place slides in 3% Acetic Acid for 3 minutes. Place slides in Alcian Blue for 30 minutes. Rinse slides in water Place slides in 0.5% Periodic Acid for 10 minutes. Rinse slides in water Place slides in Schiff Reagent for 15
