something. Perhaps someone can help me out?
I set the following cvars in the server.cfg:
bot_quota_mode fill
bot_quota 12
When I join the game to test this out - I expect to see myself and 11 bots
in the game and balanced
Never mind - dumbest question I have ever posted.

Glad you figured it out gr...
Does anyone know how to get Bots to Auto Join on reboot of the server? The
initial map that comes up on my server has no bots until I manually type
Bot_add, then my quota (5) fills immediately afterward.
Thanks,
Bud Ingram

hlds 47/1.1.2.0 linux. I have identified an issue where having a large
mapcycle (1000 entries) causes this error when anyone tries to join:
Host_Error: UserMsg: Not Present on Client 11
Does anyone know what the limit is to the size and/or the number of entries
in mapcycle.txt?
You do know there is a seperate hlds_linux@list.valvesoftware.com right?
;-)
I won't ask the rage inducing flame bait question others surely will ask.
However, have you verified that the upper limit is 1100 lines?
Or is it by some odd chance 1024 lines?
The only authoritive answer can come from
Now that I have/(had) 4 proxies running consistently (Thanks go to
StealthMode and Alfred) I have observed the operational profile and have
this to share:
1. The proxy SrcTV causes a bot indicator to show on the server list.

2.

The question isn't necessarily Linux specific. He mailed both lists to
get a better chance of getting an answer. If you were on both lists you
would see this happens quite often and is acceptable
they are all identical poweredge 1850's with dual 2.8's 2gigs of ram and
raid 1 scsi drives.
I have been reading about all the applications sp1 is causing trouble with.
Apparently microsoft put out a list of 147 and how to get them working
again. The vast majority have to do with changed security
For HLDS GUI mode it appear there is a maximum number of 4,074 characters
allowed in mapcycle.txt (not a line limit).
For HLDS console mode it appears there is a maximum of 8190 characters
allowed.
changing the heapsize did not affect these limits.
This is on my WIN32 test system, your mileage
One other thing I notice... running srctv on a tickrate 100 server causes
the cpu usage for that process (srcds.exe) to jump up to about 15% or so,
even when the server and srctv both are empty. At default tickrate this
doesn't happen. This is on w2k3 - anyone else noticing this?

So, admin mod works, OZ works, things looking better. However, in hlsw chat
