I can't get it to start, have tried to download it again but it still wont
start.
I've have
Add "-game cstrike" to the command line of the server.

Assuming this is due to the number of along with the complexity of the

I've actually messed with that aspect and I dont know if you guys are talking

Well I dunno about Tyler there, but when I left default to 300 I was only
getting 256. I raise it to 1000 and use media player and it goes to 512.
ANOTHER trick is (if you have a DOD1.3 still, or hell, even if you dont use it)

if you improve the source engine to the point where 100 tick will work
perfectly, will you make 100 tick the default?
or is the crummy 33 tick staying forever?

66Hz is needed for DoD:S to keep an accurate simulation of the physics
objects and complex player hit boxes. We tested at 33Hz but the game
didn't feel right at the slower speed (where CS:S has been optimized to
work at 33Hz with its light use of physics objects and special hitbox
design).

Is there any reason for this or is it just picked out of a hat to keep
us on our toes? :-)

Yep, DOD:S shows as 66 tickrate default on all my
installs as well while CSS default shows as 33.

Do you happen to remember the command to change your packet rates?

if you set your packet rates too low the system will display a "ping" in
the scoreboard of 5 or less. Generally this will lock to 5, although I
have seen non-rate played connections drop lower (although this is
clearly an incorrect value).

There was a discussion several months ago about users changing the numbers
reported by the latency in CS:S. Does anyone happen to remember the command?
Thanks

Now I must ask, who are the ones who are willing to become "Global" admins.
The ones who are willing
