Actually, the most fair setting is:
cl_interpolate 1; cl_interp .01
1/.01 is the CAL standard that the CAL CSP cvar blocker plug-in enforces
(not that I'm a fan of the CSP, but ...). This eliminates virtually all
interp assistance and levels the playing field for everyone.

as far as I remember, valve don't support servers of that size.
I would suggest that maybe one good reason why is that certain
variables of the engine are not large enough to handle the data volume
generated, in particular in this case, a portion the sound engine.

No, it looks easy, thats my point :)
You are looking at it from a purely geometic point
Anyone know of a variable that can be used to prevent the Valve splash
screens from coming up everytime I start DoD Source? ie: -nosplash or

Well my point was, there are some what are in retrospect quite easy to

If a cheat has to normalise itself to the level where it plays as well as a

If it is integral to their systems, it's a piss poor database design. You
*never* use something like name/address/email as a primary key in a table.

We get the crashes without bots going near the servers, so although the bots
help crash the server, all I think they do is exacerbate an already

Generally it means you are not specifying the correct port for it to use.
It can play out in many ways. Typically here are a few common causes.

Depending the implementation of their systems, this may be technically
difficult for Valve to implement - your username may or may not be something
integral to their database system or its clients, thus cannot be changed
without causing problems.

I suspect that the problem I am having is processor based... But I cannot

Maybe since most of us use the console we all forgot how easy it really is
