How do people know its mandatory, and also overwrite files in use though? I
decided against this idea mainly historically where servers wouldn't update
and were down. Just wondered if there's any way of knowing whats mandatory

idea just a second command line they can execute from their control panel in
which they can start the update for the clients themselves but I still
advise them to sign up here so they know if there is a update out or not.

I demand all updates be made at 10:30am my time Monday morning, as that
gives my staff an hour and a half to clear their morning shit out of the
way, and then the roll out can be done Monday morning when our servers
aren't very busy, and we have t
we all know they update at about 3pm to 5pm on the west
coast time. Now, that puts it about 7a to 9a or earlier
in Eastern Asia where Valve's major market is. Or it
could be that they finalize there stuff just before the
first shift crew leaves for the day.
