The actual resources used by IIS to serve a full server of 20 players a

This was not an issue 2.. 3 updates ago, something in the last week of

Still getting this issue also. It doesn't happen to me every time, but in a
group of four players, it inevitably nails someone and we all hafta wait 5+
minutes for it to either calm down, or restart the client.
Sometimes restarting the client doesn't even fix it.

Does anyone have the cvar for setting the difficulty level via server.cfg?
I'd like to setup a few private servers with varying difficulty levels.

lol yeah, I already wrote a batch file to copy mine back to all my server

I found them by trial and error. Banner = 500 x 100 - motd = 800 x 500 (but
depends on client resolution)

Has anyone figured out how to join a server that has slots free? One of my
servers has 2 people on it, but when I try and connect directly it basically
says sorry, it's reserved, you hafta join from a lobby.
I tried the sv_unreserve thing, but no love.
They just released an update for both client and server. I updated the
servers and restarted them. All 3 servers full instantly.. I'd say it's

I'm afraid that this type of attack has been around since the late 90's, if
not earlier.
It's basically pounding random UDP data (or maybe now-days more structured
data) at raw listen ports. The application listening does what it's
programmed to do, parse the input and use up available resources

My hldsupatetool has finished loading the content, however I don't see
