My server is currently running, and connections keep happening even
after the team is filled. No crash yet, hope not either cause I got a
flight to catch shortly.

Hmm...Both of my server clients updated fast. The new server I made
for MvM updated after 3 min of trying, took about 8 to update. Other
server that was running restarted and updated by its self. Then
crashed due to sourcemod. Its down for now so I can run MvM. So,
good luck? You will downloa
ier performance when I had replays and SourceTV demos enabled.
Also, you can dramatically reduce the memory footprint of multiple
servers running on the same box if you make smart use of symlinks or
directory junctions.

Everyone on this list discussing this topic should be banned by valve from
the list.
Valve did not intend the servers to support 32 players nor do they condone
it.
Please stop discussing this issue on this public list, take it to a private
list

What are you talking about? The current games are running on the new engine.
Source is Source is Source is Source. There is not an OLD source engine, or
a NEW source engine.. its just all the SAME source engine.

Ok everyone using the news gateway make note that the new group names are:
mirror.valve.hlds
mirror.valve.hlds_linux
This is already in effect. The old groups are now read-only and will be

This is completely do-able. Would something like:
mirror.valve.hlds
mirror.valve.hlds_linux
or
gateway.valve.hlds
gateway.valve.hlds_linux
be acceptable? I'm trying to think up a naming scheme compatible with future
news2mail gateways.

You can get the latest beta from ftp.valvesoftware.com (l:hlserver

problem of nuking the cvars between maps, or is this a server-side Admin
