I don't know about #1 or #2, but you can setup your own service in Windows
using the Instsrv.exe and Srvany.exe apps. If you don't mind a little
registry work, its freer than FireDaemon. Here's a nice howto:

2. TF2 server is in beta form and no admin mods are currently compatible.
Once it reaches final form and an SDK is released it shouldn't be too long
before you see admin mods.
3. I run mine with a batch script which does the same
1 & 2 Mani still mostly works. Sourcemod is very stable and there are
a bunch of plugins for it. It works for our servers. Think of it as
amxmodx for the source engine. TF2 is a new source engine. The plugin
interface is broken in it and the sdk hasnt been updated to fix it. So
nobody is ab
on
one win2k3 server. They are windowed in my task bar and it works fine.
