You guys might want to note that sv_turbophysics has been enabled in the
game.cfg for DOD Source. What happens when you turn it off?

I am going to try a hacked version from CSS. Just took out the money stuff
and added what was in the game.cfg inthe cfg
Ok, never played around with source before. However I noticed that
say/team_say is utf8 encoded. Maybe the name part should be that too.

Hi,
Noticed this when I was watching the console.

mp_flashlight 1
sv_turbophysics 1
sv_stopspeed 50

Hi. :)
I have a problem with all of my servers. In the server.cfg-file, I have
sv_maxspeed 320 and pausable 1,
but when the server is restarted or the map is changed, the server
changes those cvars to 900 and 0.
Here is a part of the serverlog:
13:29:58 changelevel de_dust2
13:30:00 L
I know what it does...did you see me asking what it does? I was suggesting
that people might want to try disabling it to see if it helps with the
player collision and players getting stuck on objects, etc.

Here is mine:
// Set the Host Name
hostname ztgames.com - 24/7 Day of Defeat Source ( FF Off )
decalfrequency 60
sv_downloadurl
sv_password
// Set the rcon password
rcon_password **
sv_rcon_banpenalty 2
sv_rcon_maxfailures 15
sv_rcon_minfailures 10
Double check that you don't have those cvars in the server.cfg twice. It
will always use the last entry if it's used twice.

I for one thank you for the explanation as I was not sure what it had done
totally. Thanks.

I think this was covered before but you have to make sure to include your ip
in your startup script +ip 192.168.1.1, something like this.

We have released an update for Day of Defeat: Source and the Source
Engine. To get this update run the hldsupdatetool.
This update fixes servers not reporting as secure in the server browser
and adds a mapcycle to Day of Defeat: Source if you haven't already
created one. More details can be found
This update is optional, apply it at your leisure (but without it your
servers will incorrectly report as insecure).

I meant to thank you at the time of the release for this, Alfred. I'm
not sure if you were involved in the decision to make a *nix friendly
game name or not, but it's still appreciated. :-)

Going out on a limb with a bold statement on a linux-based list, eh? :)
