if valve changes the prices - everyone will cry and: it would only last
a few month/years and valve will have to change the prices again.
if WE - the community can change the price - noone can cry. why does
everyone use ak,m4 ? they are good and should cost

disabling dynamic pricing serversided needs to include not sending
buy-stats to valve
but it would be hard to see which server has dynamic pricing and which
dont have.

Typically you won't get much past
an extra 10/15%, probably be even less with gameservers.
I benchmarked mprime

Thanks for the stats, handy to know someone else got about that. I don't
have any none used HT setups atm to try it on without people screaming :). I
think there's a couple of things though, gameserver code may be better or
worse in how much

Actually there's a priority option within prime which seems to override
nice, so try setting that (sorry if you've already done that, just covering
the obvious), on a single cpu setup it behaves correctly, will see if I can
sneak some time when a

Indeed I don't run 64 bit though I can but choose not to as you can see from

You know, these information could have been released much earlier along
the steam news because there is a petition with over 5000 names
regarding over this issue already and people all over irc-channels have
cursed this update to the ground. Next time to avoid worthless efforts
by community,
Could you make this cvar a public one so server query tools can filter by it?
Thanks!

There will be a cvar controlling this new functionality,
mp_dynamicpricing, you can disable it if you wish by setting its value to
0.
