Well honestly alias wont get any where due to the invention of the revert
command and well if they really want to change the tickrate then they
would just look every where... doesn't take much to delete that really.

Thats strange. Our HTML windows motd still works. It's only an img
src=blah.gif but it does work. Validate your code?

Valve could easily use a datacenter which has some form of redundancy, it
was perfectly avoidable.
I think Valve should reconsider where they house their equipment, events
such as power cuts shouldn't affect datacenters at all, UPS equipment should
kick in immediately.
End of.

OK, installed hotsanic for an overall steady picture, and other than when it
generates all of the graphs the system load never goes above 0.8.
CPU never even reaches 70% (one core - the other is effectively 100% idle)
Swap is never used
And
UPS equipment has a limited uptime. Depending on the amount of servers
connected on the UPS. Yes, it would keep the servers online a bit longer,
but can you tell the storm to lie down within that period? Is your server
on an UPS? (ofcourse you will say yes, cause we can't verify it. But i'll
bet
As HL clients uses Internet Explorer engine to render HTML, I would
check if your HTML is working in Internet Explorer 7 (if you did upgrade
your IE to v7).
