No, you don't have to create another token or id. I have quote sign on
my id and it works fine. So basically it looks like "sada93920"sdka".
Valves system expects certain long token and it does not care about "
sign between it.

As much as Valve would LOVE to have a working API, approaching code once
it's "done" and then reverse-implementing an API is not something for the

Configuration errors were confirmed here.
I simply assumed it was working before, since we were getting gifts
before the Thursday update, but that was not a safe assumption.
Valve said what they did and did what they said: After the Thursday
update, non-registered servers no longer got gift
This is an annoyance to me with the steam updater. There isn't an
"rsync --delete" equivalent that will give me a true reproduction of a
fresh/vanilla install by removing files which do not belong.
