Ultimately its about appearances. If your players feel they are playing in a
cheater free environment they likely will comeback.

Completely of topic and no I agree that smac is good.
I however don't use it. The band ice made are highly obvious. As in guns
that go from head to head super fat lol one even 360'd single shot in the
head lol I was like ya. ..
Smac auto bands are pretty accurate and I have no issues with tho
I prefer to use sourcemod anti-cheat to automatically ban name changers,
aimbots, wallhacking, speed hacks, etc.
Admins are mostly unburdened by this task and only have to focus on griefers
and ragers. If you don't employ some kind of method of detecting these hacks
then you are the one banning
Well idk what to say I have 6 bans on my servers collectively. I don't use
source bans as my servers are all different maybe they learned there
lessons. Only 2 times out of all the hacker accusations that my admins have
made were obvious hacks.
Some people are just really good
