To all complaining, yes the update sucked...
But at the same time thank the people who put endless hours into our
business(hobby) to send out the new update within
the developers at our beloved valve to think they can just release stuff
without testing, cause hey...
if its broken, we can just release another live update, no big deal.
Thanks for the extra work you
put down on the rest of us who have to update stuff twice because you
didnt test it once.

time they've released an update that just crashes,
this is a reoccuring event, I'm asking that YOU sir stop bitching at
people who are asking vlave to take a little pride in what they do.

We NEED to be able to emulate 32bit so we can run VAC2 since we still
don't have VAC2 for 64bit.
Server output is included below.

Is anyone else having trouble emulating cs 1.6 32bit on a 64bit system
after Monday's update? We had no problem in the past, the last few

getting seg faults on the boxes we've updated
Nope, at least once monthly we push gigs back and forth between boxes on
the network for backup and updates, mostly using ftp because of wget's
limitations on file size. None of which fail. Even if, the steam
updater is file by file isn't it?

VAC2 Doesn't work on 64bit yet. We're yet to get a date or even
approximation out of Alfred. You'll have to emulate 32bit by adding
-binary hlds_amd
orhlds_i686 depending on the cpus in your machine.

Don't quote me on this cause its late, but I'm pretty sure the source
engine doesn't go any higher right now (if ever).

I write, nothing nearly as complex yet but I'm working on porting my own
stuff to 64bit. The real question is why release
32bit without 64bit? You split the community by doing that, though
there may not be nearly as many 64bit players/servers
as 32bit, why release 32bit vac2 w/o 64bit?
