Actually, Blizzard has been using P2P to distribute updates for World
of Warcraft, StarCraft 2, and Diablo 3 for some time, and all 3 of
those games are multiplayer/online games.

Yea, I am too. My 24 player is around 70-80% CPU.
I hope there are still some optimizations to do...

As many as you want, I know what I'm doing...
If I use HLSW autoupdater I got "No updates available" with either "beta" o=
r "release" version set in the configuration. If I visit the homepage,
latest available version is 1.0.0.41, the same I have and still don't work.
So am = I outdated

Hey people,
Basically im getting "warping" lag on some of my servers
the spec are a) P4 2.8 1gig ram gbit nic
b) Dual Opteron242's 2gig ram dual gb nics
c) Dual Opteron250's 2gig ram dual gbit nic
e) Dual Opteron258'
I agree with this but as an example Day of Defeat includes a server.cfg
with all the values that can be set and is well commented too. surely this
could be done included by valve for the valve, tfc, dmc and cstrike
directories that they distribute?
cheers
Greg
PS thanks to those who have
It's already out on the web site.

Probably the liblist.gam file needs to point to the metamod so file - likely
the upgrade overwrote that file. Look for the gamedll_linux value and change
it to point to the new metamod .so file.
