The "steam_legacy" branch has just been made available on the HLDS app
for those who want or need it to get servers for broken mods back up and
running. As Sam mentioned, pass "-beta steam_legacy" as part of your
app_update command in SteamCMD.

Some clients are reporting they're having trouble patching. IIRC, servers
aren't given priority, and updates of any size tend to bring Steam down for
the first few minutes. Try updating in ~15 minutes.
