You can ignore that message, the dedicated server doesn't need that
functionality.

Thanks to Lou I have debugged the problem and it looks to be a problem
with the particular GLIBC library that the etch release of Debian uses
(http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin
I got this error with the beta update:
appdatacache.cpp (311) : Assertion Failed: !Implement me
