It was David Arthur Krehbiel (so the correct spelling). But, with Shosta
no.5, and with other pieces, people think too much about politics &
Stalin. Recently, people started to question artists, scientists,
teachers, professors, actors, bishops, "why they could make a career in
nazi Germany ?".
There was most recently an ebayer, 'horn player' was his email 'nic' and
he was supposedly selling a Pax hornor so he said. He claimed to be
from Italy and was selling his Pax 40L. Well, the idiot, took his ebay
'dialog' right from a ligitimate seller on 'hornplayer.net' word for word,

What I do is a tad bulky but I get the best results. I usually record
directly into my computer and then store it as a WAV file. If I'm on the go I just
use a laptop. This is basically uncompressed audio and takes up a lot of space,
so a quick and large defragmented hard drive would be a plus. R
Hi all,
Going along with the current discusion of technology, I have another
question. What software or additional recording device would I need if I
wanted to record, say, both parts of a duet seperately and then combine the
tracks to play simultaneously?
I have a Sony Minidisc recorder (M

Yes. I completely agree Hans. I'm happy you pointed that out. What gets me in
this country is the "anti-musicians" as you call it teaching the

rediculously farty and loud, which is not dark.

Yes, William, we hornplayers on the list care for you and wish you to succeed. You
would do well to heed what is shared. It is shared with love and concern for you but
above all for the good of the guild of hornplayers who continually strive to be the
best of the best.

Hi, all. Thought I might express some thoughts of my own about horns.
I've owned several horns. My main instrument was a Geyer. Over the
course of time I've played some gigs with other horns. Like once, I
recall my Geyer was in the shop so I played a gig on a school-owned 6D.
I played it

Is this something to be skeptical of?

You come off on this list like some horn god and you haven't even finished

I would choose stereo with lower quality mikes. The stereo gives presence and
removes the "echo-y" effect you get with most mono setups. I get a decent
