What Hans says concurs with my own observations from playing the many various

Sorry Klaus, the The Cs below the staff probably would
have been played on the Bb-side if a descant double had been
used and then would have been more massive. sentence does
not hit the subject. There are no C´s below staff which
should be more massive. These C´s are in piano dynamics.
